Fair Trade Soap Stone Scoop Shaped Tealight Holder

This gorgeous tealight holder is hand carved in soap stone.

Made in a workshop in Northern India which was set up along fair trade lines by a member of the Fair Trade Forum Indian and the World Fair Trade Organisation, which started in the 1970's and still campaigns against child labour, provides schooling for kids and seeks to improve the economic and social conditions for the most disadvantaged.

This tealight holder is carved from Palewa soap stone only found in India. The Palewa stone has been carved into a scoop shape and the decorated with circles. An unusual and stunning looking candle holder which would make a wonderful gift.
